Algorithm for clinical management of women in menopause

·

Dear colleagues and friends,

Following the great success of the Menopause Guide for Healthcare Professionals published in 2015, the Hellenic Society of Climacteric and Menopause supports the effort of continuing education by presenting the Algorithm for Clinical Management of Women in Menopause.

In the first part of this book, step-by-step instructions are provided for the monitoring, prevention, and treatment of symptoms and chronic diseases related to menopause. In the second part, clinical problems that arise on a daily basis are discussed, presenting 28 case studies.

The cases have been selected in such a way as to highlight the difficulties and dilemmas that often arise in clinical practice, given that each case is unique and usually does not fall under clear-cut guidelines. Our goal is to assist our colleagues in making the right decisions and addressing the issues related to the decline in ovarian function in the best possible way.
