Dear colleagues and friends,
The European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS) announces the 16th European Congress (16th EMAS Congress), which will take place on 19–21 May 2027 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The EMAS Congress is a landmark event on the European scientific scene in the field of health for middle-aged and older women and men, with a focus on menopause, the andropause transition, healthy aging, and holistic care.
Bridging Worlds: Interdisciplinary Dialogues Across Generations
Under the inspiring motto ‘Bridging Worlds: Interdisciplinary Dialogues Across Generations,’ this congress will promote the free exchange of ideas among scientific disciplines, generations, and healthcare systems. We firmly believe that the future of midlife medicine and healthy aging is built on fruitful collaboration—between gynecology and psychiatry, endocrinology and cardiology, primary care and digital health, established experts and emerging young scientists.
Together, we will explore the latest advances in science and clinical practice, challenge outdated paradigms, and develop innovative strategies that address the diverse needs of individuals in midlife and beyond. EMAS 2027 will also highlight the importance of dialogue—between generations of women and men, among healthcare professionals, and between science and society.
